The Call – Request creation of a special select committee on #TrumpRussia

Urge your members of Congress to advocate that Congress create a special select committee to investigate Russian subversion in the U.S. election and President Trump’s reported campaign and financial ties to Moscow. With the mounting evidence that Flynn and other Trump confidants had constant ongoing communications with Russian intelligence, news of the attempted blackmail of Paul Manafort and reports that the FBI has refused a White House request to knock down the stories, it is clear Congress should authorize a special select committee to fully investigate these matters. While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has stated the Senate does not need a special committee, Senator Lindsey Graham recently said that a special committee is needed if Trump’s campaign was in contact with Russian officials. The House has pending bill (H.R.356) which would authorize a special committee and the bill picked up its first Republican co-sponsor last week. While it is still an uphill to get a select committee, progress is being made and the American people deserve answers.

Your Action

Call all three of your members of Congress and ask them to support a special select committee to investigate Russian subversion of the U.S. election and President Trump’s ties to Moscow.
